Position Overview
We are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to become a vital part of the Alpinestars Purchasing Department, equipped with a strong aptitude for problem-solving in supplier management.
The selected candidate will oversee the entire lifecycle of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company protocols from initiation to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate production requirements, including quantities and timelines, to suppliers in alignment with logistics directives;
- Facilitate the flow of information between suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet company objectives, ensuring accurate data entry;
- Engage in minor negotiations for specific projects or components, adhering to guidelines set by the Purchasing Manager;
- Track suppliers' estimated delivery times, prioritizing tasks according to logistics standards and updating product availability in the system;
- Verify shipping documents against supply orders, updating records and coordinating with the Import Office for import documentation;
- Conduct reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Economics or a related field;
- Relevant experience in a similar capacity;
- Proficient in MS Office applications;
- Strong command of the English language;
- Dynamic, proactive personality with a hands-on approach;
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
