About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Systems Engineer to join our team in Genoa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and revising system requirements for Avionics/Cabin/Flight Controls subsystems. You will apply and understand DO 254/DO178C standards and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and manage complex systems in the aerospace and defense sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and revise system requirements for Avionics/Cabin/Flight Controls subsystems
  • Apply and understand DO 254/DO178C standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and manage complex systems
  • Use various sources of information to synthesize solutions that meet or exceed client needs
  • Implement best practices in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), processes, and tools
  • Design, develop, integrate, and deliver complex systems, applying the V-model of Systems Engineering throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Logistics-Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience or practical knowledge in Model-Based Systems Engineering and proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink
  • Proven experience in developing with MATLAB and Simulink for at least one year
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulations
