Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Capital Management Specialist to join our team at BNP Paribas Cardif. As a key member of our Capital Management department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support in the calculation of our company's solvency requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Valuation and support in the calculation of current and prospective solvency requirements, MVBS, and Capital Plan;
  • Valuation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) with an integrated view between assets, liabilities, and economic scenarios;
  • Contribution to the automation of calculation processes;
  • Support in the finalization of financial operations, such as the subscription of subordinated loans;
  • Preparation of the capital management policy and its implementation;
  • Valuation of capital requirements and ensuring the payment of dividends/reductions of capital in compliance with regulatory and fiscal constraints and corporate instructions;
  • Communication with regulators and the group within the required timeframe;
  • Coordination of the Solvency 2 SFCR and RSR narrative;
  • Contribution to the preparation of the S2 narrative for auditors and the Board of Directors;

Requirements

  • Master's degree in statistics or actuarial sciences;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance companies, in the role of Capital Management, ALM, Actuarial, or Actuarial Function;
  • Experience in liability analysis, SCR, and liquidity;
  • Actuarial valuation, finance, and risk management skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of the insurance balance sheet and, in particular, liabilities;
  • Knowledge of the interaction logic between assets and liabilities;
  • Knowledge of the Italian insurance business and related local regulations;
  • Knowledge of Solvency II regulations and the Solvency II balance sheet;
  • Excellent knowledge of interdependencies between macroeconomic variables, business, and insurance variables;
  • Teamwork, time management, and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; French language skills are appreciated;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and at least one programming language (R, Matlab, Python);
  • Knowledge of the Prophet or RAFM application is required;
