Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer/Field Engineer to join our team at PALFINGER AG. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, inspection, and servicing of cranes, deck equipment, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled service interventions worldwide, both onshore and offshore.
  • Provide technical support on-site and remotely.
  • Plan and prepare service interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with company and client HSE policies.
  • Comply with applicable company policies and quality systems.
  • Travel extensively, estimated + days per year.

Requirements

  • Technical education or equivalent combination of education/experience in mechanical, hydraulic, electro, automation, PLC, Siemens, TIA/S7, HMI, frequency drives, or maritime disciplines.
  • Offshore experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent English and Italian language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong cooperation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to systematically fault-trace complex technical issues.
  • Structured, creative, and able to multitask.
  • Qualification for offshore health certificate is mandatory.
