About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Strategic Buyer to join our team at STMicroelectronics. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in managing strategic projects and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage RFI/RFQ/Tender processes to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Utilize SAP/Ariba and Microsoft Office to streamline procurement processes and improve efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Business Administration)
  • 2-5 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in SAP/Ariba and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commodity strategy and indirect services
  • Knowledge of Site Services and team work attitude
