Position Overview
The role of Project/Process Engineer presents an excellent opportunity to become an integral member of our Operational Excellence and Manufacturing engineering team, contributing significantly to the achievement of our corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Spearhead the strategic project portfolio within the OpEx & Manufacturing engineering department, driving technological advancements in production processes, optimizing existing facilities and systems, enhancing equipment efficiency, and minimizing costs. Assist the Manufacturing Engineering team in assessing the feasibility of new investments and initiatives aligned with the Site Strategic Improvement Plan (SSIP). Ensure effective communication with stakeholders by providing regular updates and leading project reviews; manage project timelines, budgets, and scopes using appropriate tools (WBS, Gantt charts, S-curves, etc.) while effectively addressing risks, issues, and change requests. Develop user requirements and translate them into project documentation, including P&ID, layouts, data sheets, and mechanical and electro-instrumental work requisitions. Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate design and field activities, aligning technical and financial aspects to enable the Procurement team to proceed with commercial negotiations. Work closely with HSE and QA departments to ensure that all project deliverables comply with safety and quality standards and requirements. Oversee the installation and qualification of new lines, equipment, and systems. Partner with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams to foster continuous improvement in production areas by enhancing OEE, optimizing layouts, and reducing waste. Contribute to the implementation of the Company Operational Excellence system on-site. Collaborate with the Global OpEx and Engineering Network to adopt global best practices and actively share site knowledge and lessons learned from successful implementations.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering (preferably in mechanical, automation, electronic, biomedical, etc.). Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and/or Lean Six Sigma green belt is highly desirable. 2-3 years of experience as a process engineer, preferably in a relevant industrial production environment. Experience in project delivery with budget management, including capital projects related to production and utilities systems. Proficient in English. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Project, 3D (AutoCAD), and statistical software (Minitab, JMP). Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing tools. Results-oriented individual with excellent planning and organizational skills. Flexibility, proactivity, strong interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills with a collaborative approach. Familiarity with IT systems. Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines are essential.
