About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Long/Short Equities investment team at Point72 Asset Management, L.P. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with our investment team to bridge the gap between fundamental research and technological innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our investment team to develop and implement AI and machine learning applications to support our investment strategy.
  • Design and develop quantitative insights to aid our investment team in generating investment ideas.
  • Create tools and infrastructure to support and enhance our team's quantitative efforts.
  • Integrate and process Compliance-approved data (structured and unstructured).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (with an emphasis on Pandas, PySpark, etc.).
  • Interest in Generative AI technology.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, Airflow, Databricks, Spark.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
