As a member of our manufacturing division, you will contribute to comprehensive data and analytical solutions that support the development, learning, and operational insights for our pivotal engineering-led projects in equipment, processes, packaging, customization, and supply chain management. You will utilize Data Science and Analytics methodologies to bolster our Fabric and Home Care sector and enhance our value creation pipeline by:

  • Collaborating with our international teams to pinpoint requirements that assist our production floor, streamline our workflows, or elevate our business operations.
  • Taking charge of the complete development of sustainable workflows and technologies to support these solutions.
  • Leading and facilitating the systematic application of analytics within the Product Supply organization, in partnership with domain experts and information systems professionals.

This internship offers an exceptional opportunity to drive transformative advancements at our manufacturing sites, applying Data Science and analytics technologies to support our Fabric and Home Care division while fueling our value creation through digital solutions. As a Data Science Intern, you will be tasked with developing innovative digital solutions that support:

Automation systems, control information networks, vision, and robotic systems that deliver exceptional and highly efficient production systems. Engineers in this domain leverage their enthusiasm for mechatronics and process dynamic simulation tools to create industrial solutions that facilitate efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses of equipment and workflows utilizing relevant data sources by identifying performance indicators.
  • Engage with project teams to comprehend project needs and provide technical expertise with data and analytical tools.
  • Design digital solutions that enhance access to information contained within the data by offering access, relevant analyses, suitable visualization techniques, and workflows to support effective decision-making in production environments.
  • Collaborate with data leaders and multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and ensure the availability and scalability of critical data systems infrastructures and integrations.
  • Create digital solutions to be integrated into our production control strategies.
  • Support the rollout of successful solutions by defining scaling approaches and global deployment strategies, including data model definition and documentation for deployable solutions.
  • Investigate emerging capabilities and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning for seamless integration and application between data scientists, functional specialists, and their key use cases.
  • Operate with a Fast Cycle Learning mindset.

Your internship provides the opportunity to set technical direction by applying and mastering our Product Supply Engineering innovation and delivery initiatives while demonstrating diverse data, analytics, and visualization skills. You will have clear responsibilities that challenge your technical capabilities. Qualifications:

We seek candidates who are:

  • University Master’s degree students in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field with strong academic performance.
