As a Power Integrity Specialist at Renesas Electronics Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness of chip designs through Power Integrity simulations and analysis. Your expertise in Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) will enable you to recommend essential PI/SI analyses, leveraging your experience and tools to optimize power distribution networks.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Power Integrity simulations and analysis to ensure robustness of chip designs
- Recommend essential PI/SI analyses to optimize power distribution networks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster effective communication and mentoring
- Proactively identify potential issues and propose additional analyses to contribute to continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain expertise in Power Integrity for PMICs, understanding the relation between PMIC chip design and Power Integrity/Power Distribution Networks
- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in Power Integrity and PMICs
- Knowledge of and working with voltage regulators (Buck, Buck-Boost, LDO), key parameters and measurement methods
- Expertise in Power Electronics, PDN, parasitic and noise analysis
- Research and development skills, proposing innovative topics aligned with business unit roadmaps
- Strong collaborative skills, fostering effective communication with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers
- Proactive problem-solving skills, demonstrated ability to identify potential issues and propose additional analyses
- Scripting skills, ideally knowledge in using tools (Python) to automate tasks
- Analog Design skills, ideally sound knowledge in Analog chip design, including industry standard tools (Cadence)
- Goals-oriented and able to deliver on-time results under tight schedules
