What will your role entail at Miniclip?

You will join a team of skilled developers focused on creating, deploying, and supporting our mobile multiplayer gaming infrastructure on a global scale. Your ability to think creatively will be essential in crafting innovative solutions while collaborating with some of the industry's brightest professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and maintaining multiplayer game servers and associated services.
  • Developing and enhancing tools and libraries for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Overseeing the upkeep of our platforms, systems, and network infrastructure.
  • Collaborating effectively with other development teams.

What qualifications are we seeking?

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud or backend development.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services or other major cloud platforms.
  • Strong programming capabilities, particularly in distributed/concurrent programming, networking, and microservices.
  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly git.
  • Skills in software design.
  • A responsible, self-driven, and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • A sense of accountability and ownership, demonstrating commitment and enthusiasm.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Additional desirable skills:

  • Knowledge of Erlang and Elixir.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or Bamboo.
