Job Overview

We are seeking a Corporate Internal Auditor to become a vital member of our Internal Audit division, reporting directly to the function manager.

The successful candidate will engage in the following key responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing operational, financial, and compliance audits globally, in alignment with the Internal Audit Strategy
  • Assisting in the evaluation of the effectiveness and proper execution of the Internal Control Framework concerning Financial Reporting at the Group level (SOX Compliance)
  • Aiding in the implementation of corrective measures to address identified gaps or weaknesses
  • Conducting testing activities for the controls established across all processes and legal entities within the Group
  • Gaining insights into the design and implementation of business processes
  • Providing support for ad-hoc audit initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in economics, finance, management, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in Internal Audit roles within publicly traded manufacturing firms or comparable experience in audit firms and/or consulting companies specializing in internal audit/risk management
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting standards
  • Understanding of American SOX regulations and/or Italian L.262/05 is advantageous
  • Experience in auditing IT processes (including IT general controls) is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical abilities, adaptability, and initiative
  • Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
