We seek diverse and multicultural talents from the Oil & Gas, Industrial, and Energy Transition sectors. We are currently in search of a qualified professional to assume the role of Senior Civil Engineer/Lead.
Location: Rome, Italy.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Calculations:
- Develop detailed designs for static and dynamic equipment foundations.
- Create designs for basins and foundations for both steel and concrete structures.
- Design elevated concrete structures, sheet piling for earth retention, and piles.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations for underground networks, modules, and steel works of offshore platforms, including the verification of existing structures.
- Assess and calculate revamping and reinforcing of existing structures.
Engineering and Project Management Duties:
- Engage in project contract review meetings.
- Perform discipline contract reviews and maintain Document/Drawings Index, providing support for schedule preparation.
- Draft project technical specifications in collaboration with other disciplines.
- Facilitate inter-departmental coordination.
- Assist the Construction department in preparing Civil Construction Tender/Offer.
- Participate in constructability reviews.
- Contribute to design and model reviews.
- Track quantities and materials.
- Coordinate with subcontracting consultants for architectural designs, survey works, and soil investigation consultancy, as well as structural steel fabricators for fabrication drawings.
- Review the work performed by outsourcing consultants and provide recommendations for further engineering and coordination with construction and engineering subcontractors as needed.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in detailed engineering for refinery, gas, power, renewables, or infrastructure projects in a similar capacity.
- Fluency in English.
