As a Piping Materials Estimator and Manager at Tecnimont, you will play a crucial role in managing the Piping Material Database, ensuring it remains up-to-date and accurate. Your expertise will be essential in extracting material and work requisitions for specific project stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the piping material database, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Verify material take-offs and identify potential inconsistencies or variations in relation to budgets.
  • Prepare material requisitions, including lists of materials to be procured.
  • Prepare work requisitions, including lists of mechanical activities to be subcontracted.
  • Evaluate work fronts in terms of feasible welding inches for subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or a similar technical field. Alternatively, a high school diploma with relevant work experience in piping engineering, piping materials industries, or construction contractors is acceptable.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Fluent English speaker and writer.
  • Availability to travel in Italy and abroad.
