Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Compatibility Specialist to join our team at Alpitronic Americas LLC. As an Electromagnetic Compatibility Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) measurements in internal and external laboratories, including debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare test setups in accordance with test plans and specifications.
  • Perform internal instrument verification and calibration, adhering to verification plans and procedures.
  • Develop and implement countermeasures to address electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues, in collaboration with the EMC project manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as electrical engineering, electronics, or mechatronics.
  • Proficiency in handling electronic measuring instruments, including oscilloscopes, LCR meters, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and signal generators.
  • Familiarity with EMC standards and regulations, as well as experience with EMC measurement equipment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Ability to think critically and analytically, with a strong understanding of the connections between EMC results, product design, and setup.
  • Self-motivated and meticulous work style, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills in Italian and/or German a plus.
