  • Evaluate potential safety threats and vulnerabilities in automotive systems;
  • Establish and uphold security protocols and procedures;
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to embed safety measures into projects;
  • Perform safety evaluations and inspections;
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards;
  • Organize safety-related tasks throughout various development stages and formulate a comprehensive safety strategy;
  • Oversee project timelines, milestones, and interactions with project management;
  • Facilitate and execute analyses such as FMEA, FTA, DFA, and FMEDA;
  • Engage in discussions with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in project management techniques and analytical methods;
  • Background in the implementation of systems (e.g., steering, axle, transmission systems);
  • Technical expertise in electronics, software, mechatronics, etc.;
  • Experience related to the functional safety of utilized technologies;
  • Familiarity with pertinent standards and regulations (ISO 26262);
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset;
  • Proficient in English (German language skills are advantageous).
