Local Benchmark Center Manager

What We Provide:

KION ITS EMEA operates under the umbrella of KION GROUP AG, which encompasses the renowned brands Linde Material Handling, STILL, and Baoli. These brands are recognized for their top-tier industrial trucks and innovative intralogistics solutions. We are currently seeking a Local Head for our newly established Benchmark Competence Center.

Role Overview:

  • Oversee a team of 2 local personnel
  • Ensure adherence to company standards during Benchmarking activities in Luzzara
  • Facilitate communication between the Luzzara Benchmark Center and the ITS Global Benchmarking Center
  • Report hierarchically to the Local R&D Manager in Luz
  • Functionally report to the Global Cost Engineering Manager at ITS

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Leadership and team management
  • Ability to work in international and intercultural teams
  • Effective prioritization skills
  • Proficient in reporting

Core Competencies:

  • Background in Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering
  • Experience with product lifecycle management tools and associated software
  • Understanding of industrial machinery design and architecture

Experience and Qualifications:

Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial machinery design
  • Proficient in CAD 3D PSM/PLM software
  • Familiarity with advanced PC hardware and software functionalities

Preferred:

  • Experience in product benchmarking within Agricultural machinery, Earthmoving machinery, Automotive sectors, or similar fields
