Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer Connectivity - Automotive Field Specialist to join our team at Bertrandt. As a key member of our Connected Car team, you will be responsible for defining concepts for future online features, developing and maintaining specification documents, and coordinating with project stakeholders to implement defined functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define concepts for future Connected Car online features and develop, maintain, and release specification documents for Connected Car online services.
  • Create and allocate technical requirements, defining and assessing interfaces together with E/E RD Team.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, external suppliers, and service providers to implement defined functions.
  • Cooperate with testing and validation teams to assess the correct implementation of Connected Car features.
  • Analyze reported issues and provide technical support to project stakeholders.
  • Steer system and sub-system configuration to correctly implement fleet's online services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Information Technology, Vehicle Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience in online services, vehicle function, in-vehicle infotainment development, or similar.
  • Knowledge of vehicle architectures, automotive networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and backend architectures.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and homologation topics in the automotive sector.
  • Fluent Italian and English (German will be considered a plus).
  • Nice to have: Atlassian Framework (Jira, Confluence), Vector tool suite; experience on test-benches and validation activities and with Diagnostic tools.
