PeoItalyis recruiting on behalf of aglobal industrial manufacturing group , a leader in the construction machinery sector with a strong international presence and a growing European R&D footprint.We are looking for aTest & Validation Engineerwho will play a key role in ensuring new products meet the highest standards ofperformance, safety, reliability, and regulatory compliancefor the European market.You will manage thefull testing and validation lifecycleof new machinery, from planning and execution to data analysis and technical reporting. This is ahands-on, technical rolewith strong exposure to international R&D teams, field testing, and real customer applications.Key Responsibilities Develop and executevalidation plans (DVP&R)aligned with European market and regulatory requirements Perform lab and field tests onmechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Lead testing activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy Analyze test results using engineering and statistical tools Prepare detailedtechnical reportswith clear conclusions and improvement recommendations Present validation outcomes to internal stakeholders Ensure compliance withEuropean directives and standards(e.g. Machinery Directive, EN standards) Maintain validation documentation for audits and certifications Support quality audits and corrective/preventive actions Work closely withinternational R&D teamsto provide feedback on design and reliability Collaborate with Product Management and Sales to translate customer needs into test cases Coordinate with suppliers and external testing facilities Improve test methodologies, tools, and processes Perform risk assessments (e.g. FMEA) Promote a strong safety culture at test sites Annual international assignment at the global R&D headquarters ( approx. 2–3 months/year ) Regular travel withinEurope and the UK (up to 30%)Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field 3+ yearsof experience in testing/validation withinconstruction, agricultural, or heavy machinery Strong knowledge ofmechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, LabVIEW, Minitab) Ability to operate heavy machinery for testing purposes Knowledge ofEuropean regulations and standards Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus Valid driving license Experience in international or cross-cultural R&D environments Background in reliability engineeringWhat’s in It for You Competitive salary and benefits Exposure to aglobal, technology-driven organization High-impact, hands-on engineering role International collaboration and career growth opportunities
