If you are curious to know more about who we are, we suggest you visit Milestone’s career page: milestonesys.com/career.ResponsibilitiesBuilding technical understanding and credibility during the sales process and positioning our product to ensure the success of the solution.Working with the Milestone sales team as well as distributors, key accounts, and end users across industries in Center and South Italy.Being the central point in educating and building Milestone knowledge into the channel, focusing on defined integrators, consultants, and distributors.Supporting the go-to-market strategy by attending roadshows and exhibitions, conducting and supporting technical seminars.Focusing on the Center and South Italy region; you must be based in Rome with a valid work and residence permit for Italy.Working remotely from a home office and traveling to the Milan office for internal meetings, and throughout the region to support the channel, visit end users and partners, and participate in events and tradeshows. Frequent regional travel and occasional trips to Milestone Systems HQ in Denmark and other countries are required.Performing demonstrations of our solutions to partners and customers to win business.Examining tenders and preparing the technical part of the offer; responding to RFIs and RFPs.Collaborating with the local Channel Business Manager and Inside Channel Manager to address the business.Contributing to continuous product training of salespeople, partners, and distributors.Providing hands-on and technical assistance in preparation and setup of exhibitions, events, customer meetings, proof of concepts, etc.QualificationsMinimum 5 years’ experience in an IT Engineering role, including work with a 2‑tier channel (distributors and integrators).Full professional competence in spoken and written Italian and English.Technical engineering qualification or diploma is a plus.Knowledge of Milestone is an advantage.Ability to convey technical knowledge to both technical and non-technical audiences.Enjoys working with software, hardware, and the latest technologies; solid hands-on experience in software and hardware integration.Background in the Video Surveillance Industry is preferred.In-depth technical knowledge of IT, especially networking, storage, and Windows platforms.Ability to build trust and convey messages in a compelling way when facing customers and partners.Strong team player, capable of working independently when needed.Curious and eager to stay updated on the latest technologies within the Video Management Software (VMS) Industry.Application and contactYou will experience an inclusive and unbiased recruitment process where all employment decisions are based on qualifications rather than race, color, ethnicity, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, and religion.
