In this role, you will plan, coordinate and manage allocations of infrastructure components across multiple manufacturers and suppliers.Key job responsibilitiesLead supply and manufacturer transitions on to the Buy Sell programLead supply vs demand scenario planning analysesPrioritize activities and align with stakeholders to deliver supply globally with a high degree of predictabilityBe a subject matter expert for the supply chain operations relating to the Buy Sell programManage cross‑functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goalsWork with component suppliers and server manufacturers to analyze, reconcile allocation and monitor changes and cancellationsUnderstand the supply chain network and work with various analytics and software development teams, driving automationDevelop analytical tools and dashboards to track metrics, monitor SLAs, and report findingsProduce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape solution designCreate strategic sourcing plans and lead sourcing engagements in opportunity identification and RFQsDevelop negotiation strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliersDrive supplier product technology roadmaps and execute strategic quality/availability/cost improvement initiativesAnalyze industry capacity to predict market constraints and execute sourcing strategies to secure continuity of supply and drive cost optimizationDevelop and execute component vendor strategies in support of business requirements for AWS Server hardwareSuccessfully close complex negotiations including commercial terms, statements of work, SLAs, capacity, supply & pricingImplement vendor performance controls and periodic executive level reviews to ensure sustained operational excellenceAbout the teamDiverse ExperiencesAmazon values diverse experiences. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
