Operating from strategically positioned micro‑fulfillment centers in high‑density metropolitan areas, we deliver everything from groceries and household items to tech accessories, meeting our customers’ immediate needs with unprecedented speed and reliability.Lead Associates are the cornerstone of our Quick Commerce operations, managing our fastest delivery model yet. In this role, you’ll independently lead site operations and make real‑time decisions to maintain our 30‑minute delivery promise. You’ll coordinate across multiple teams, manage inventory of fast‑moving products, and ensure an exceptional customer experience through precise execution.Key Job ResponsibilitiesManaging site operations independently with minimal supervisionMaking swift, independent decisions to meet customer promisesCoordinate with delivery partners to maintain 30‑minute delivery timesAct as escalation point for problem‑solving and support Regional Area ManagerEnsuring proper handling and rotation of diverse products, including perishablesProcess deliveries and maintain accurate inventory countsOperate digital systems for inventory management and trackingOperate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, dollies, carts)Maintaining safety and quality standards while delivering at speedWork in various environments including coolers/freezers with moderate noise levelsFlexibility to work across multiple locations within a 10‑mile radiusBasic QualificationsCan lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experienceHigh school or equivalentWork 40 hours/week, including overtime as requiredWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysAre 18 years of age or olderPreferred Qualifications2+ years of production, warehouse, or other leadership, or 1+ years of Amazon experienceExperience managing inventory in a retail or distribution settingPrior experience in training othersStrong verbal communication and customer service skillsPrevious experience in providing peer‑to‑peer feedbackDemonstrated success in problem solving and delivering resultsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $46,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $57,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
