The brand was established in 1968 by Mrs. Jil Sander, it is directed by Simone Bellotti, and it was acquired by the OTB Fashion Group in 2021.JIL SANDER is seeking a Leather Goods Designer to join its Milan‑based design team. The role focuses on the creation and development of handbags and small leather goods that reflect the brand’s distinctive approach to modern luxury: purity, precision, and timeless design.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop leather goods collections in line with JIL SANDER’s creative visionCreate sketches, technical drawings, and product specificationsResearch materials, leathers, colors, and hardware aligned with the brand’s aestheticCollaborate with Creative, Product Development and Merchandising teamsOversee sample development and ensure quality, craftsmanship, and functionalityLiaise with Italian and international manufacturers to ensure feasibility and timelinesConduct market, archive, and trend research with a focus on longevity and innovationSupport line reviews and collection presentationsProfileDegree in FashionProven experience in leather goods design, preferably within luxury or premium brandsStrong knowledge of leather materials, construction, and finishingProficiency in Adobe Illustrator and design toolsStrong sensitivity to proportion, structure, and minimal aestheticsDetail‑oriented, organized, and collaborativePrivacy policy available here: increase your chances of interviewing at OTB by 2xGet notified about new Designer jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy .#J-18808-Ljbffr
