Discover your exciting roleExyte Italy is looking for an experienced Process Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Agrate Brianza office. In this permanent position, you will become part of our Engineering Process Supply Department, supporting a variety of cutting-edge projects in the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.You will play a central role in the design, development, and field execution of industrial water treatment systems (WWT and UPW), ensuring technical excellence from engineering through to on-site installation and commissioning.Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesDevelop engineering designs for industrial water treatment plants in line with SEMI, ASME and GMP standards, as well as national and local regulationsPrepare engineering documentation including layouts, PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, technical specifications, datasheets, equipment lists, material take-offs and tender documentationConduct technical bid evaluations and support procurement processesFollow up with vendors during equipment fabrication, delivery and erection phasesManage and resolve supplier NCRsParticipate in intra- and interdisciplinary design review meetingsSupport site activities such as field installation checks, preparation of checklists and punch lists, and documentation for pre-commissioning and commissioningEnsure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, company procedures and technical specificationsShow your expertiseMaster’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent3–5 years of experience in the design and construction of industrial water treatment plants (WWT and UPW)Knowledge of UHP gas and chemical distribution systems, clean utilities and pharma processes is considered a strong plusFamiliarity with SEMI standards, GMP requirements, ultrapure water technologies and industrial wastewater treatment processesStrong understanding of process control, P&ID standards, ISA symbology, piping and valve classes for UPW, UHP gases, chemicals and clean utilitiesExperience in instrumentation & controls, sequences of operation and commissioning/start-up activitiesProficiency with software tools such as MS Office, AutoCAD 2D/3D, Visio, MS Project; process simulation tools (e.g., WAVE) are a plusStrong interpersonal skills, problem-solving mindset, ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teamsFlexibility to travel nationally and internationally for extended periodsFluent in English; additional languages such as German are advantageousContact:You want to be part of the Exyte team?
