Overview Apply for the Business Functional Analyst role at NTT DATA Europe & Latam. Based in the Romania Excellence Centre, Bucharest, our client seeks experienced professionals who value teamwork, pioneering technology, and innovation. We look for individuals who want to elevate their careers in a dynamic environment, developing new applications and migrating them to Google Cloud. Our Know Your Customer application enables advisors to collect information about new potential customers, calculate their risk, and decide via a workflow whether to accept or reject the customer as a client. All clients are also reviewed on a periodic schedule. The solution uses REACT for the front end, Java / Spring Boot for the backend, and an Oracle Exa-Database for storage. The instance is hosted on-premise, and a migration to Google Cloud with rollouts in new locations is in progress. What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)Have overall financial services acumen to connect regulatory policy changes to business requirements and functional specifications for solution development and implementation. Create and execute roadmaps focused on solution development and implementation; present key timelines, milestones, and status updates in the absence or presence of a Product Owner to senior management and hold strategic discussions independently. Refine business requirements and align them globally across all seven locations in Central and Eastern Europe, Germany, APAC, and the US regions. Prepare senior‑management slides with strong communication skills to package a problem statement clearly to both IT and non‑IT stakeholders, and influence via email, Word, and PowerPoint effectively. Align with other key stakeholder groups (project management, software engineering, vendors) to support the link between the business divisions and solution providers for all aspects of identifying, implementing, and maintaining solutions. Document requirements, processes, and controls in Confluence and Jira. Support the maintenance and prioritization of product backlogs. Assist and support SIT and UAT phases for pre‑go‑live change management. Pick up production issues and take full ownership until resolution, coordinating with all required parties in the
