YOUR MISSION We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (SCE) to empower our users with a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance level to pursue their missions. As we expand our digital advertisement SaaS suite, we are leveling up our processes and pipelines and our SCEs get to deliver insights from the massive scale data of our ad‑serving stack and to monitor the health and performance of the intricate processes exposed to our clients via APIs and web applications.You’ll be joining our team of SCEs, working closely with the Product Owners and their teams to empower, guide and assist various engineering Teams.As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Factor Eleven you’ll get to provide reliable, future‑proof solutions using AWS and Kubernetes, offer fresh ideas, plan, guide and review the work of your team members, demonstrate a unique and highly informed viewpoint, and enjoy collaborating with cross‑functional teams to develop real‑world solutions and positive user experiences at every interaction.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESRun the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system healthPlan, guide and review the contributions of your team membersBuild software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applicationsImprove reliability, quality, and time‑to‑market of our suite of software solutionsMeasure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improveProvide primary operational support and engineering for our digital advertisement SaaS platformGather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault findingPartner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release proceduresParticipate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planningCreate sustainable systems and services through automation and upliftsBalance feature development speed and reliability with well‑defined service level objectivesRequirements YOUR PROFILE5+ years experience working as Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer or similar roleFirm grasp on Kubernetes with Helm and container composition using DockerExcellent knowledge and working experience with AWSAbility to program (structured and OO) with multiple high level languages, such as TypeScript, Rust, C / C++, C#, Python, GoLang or JavaExtensive experience with Application Performance Monitoring, Tracing and Logging software such as DataDog, Kibana, Graphana, HoneyComb, Harvest etc.Good experience with event driven architecture using distributed message brokers such as Apache Kafka, AWS SQS / SNS, RabbitMQ or Redis StreamsGood knowledge of dynamic resource management frameworks (Kubernetes, Yarn, Helm, cdk8s, AWS CDK, Terraform)A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecksDemonstrates accountability for full project lifecycles from concept and scoping to deliveryOpenness to feedback and a commitment to continuous learning and improvementStrong self‑management and accountability in delivering resultsBasic knowledge of common tools and pipelines in the NodeJS / NPM ecosystemProblem‑solving attitude and team spiritPreferred : AWS and / or Kubernetes certificationsBenefits WHY US?
