We foster a workplace that values diversity, equal opportunity and personal growth.Shape the future of energy with us.About the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Product Development Engineer to join our Submarine R&D team with a specialized focus on the Flexible Factory Joint (FFJ), a key accessory that connects sections of high‑voltage submarine cables.You will be responsible for developing and industrializing new solutions aimed at adding new value propositions to submarine cable systems, with a particular focus on meeting the increasing demands of higher voltage ratings and deeper sea installations. All activities will be carried out in close coordination with other R&D functions (such as materials and testing) and will require a broad technical perspective (encompassing design, materials, process development and validation) and a hands‑on approach.The role involves collaboration across multiple departments as well as frequent interactions with external suppliers and Prysmian production sites across different countries.Main ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and optimize flexible joint solutions for submarine cable systems.Lead the
