We’re seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the procurement of wind turbines during the realization phase of our projects. As a key member of the procurement team, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing commercial topics and risk, and execute the procurement process.Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping the procurement strategy for wind turbine supply agreements (TSA) and service & maintenance agreements (SMA), including exploring opportunities to optimize pricing through project bundlingLeading the planning, procurement, and negotiation of TSA and SMA contractsManaging stakeholder relationships and collaborating with project managers, engineers, investment officers, and legal advisorsDefining insurance scope and securing necessary coverage for wind farm constructionIdentifying and mitigating commercial and interface risks in the contractsSupporting the Construction Project Manager in budget planning, scheduling, and risk managementProviding recommendations to optimize engineering decisions on scope and pricingCommunicating closely with the end-investor to align on procurement expectationsAnalyzing and documenting supplier information, including credit risk and order backlogIdentifying areas for process improvements to gain a competitive advantageRequirementsMinimum 5+ years of experience in a similar procurement role, preferably in the wind energy industryExpert knowledge in negotiations, commercial management, and contract risk managementStrong communication, problem-solving, and planning skillsIn-depth understanding of commercial aspects, construction / supply contracts, and wind turbine technologyGood knowledge of claim management and legal aspects related to contractsProficiency in written and spoken EnglishAbout OX2OX2 develops, constructs, sells, owns, and operates renewable energy solutions at scale.
