Join to apply for the Procurement Manager role at Chaberton ProfessionalsChaberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners specialized in the search and selection of Middle and Top Management profiles, is looking for a Procurement Manager on behalf of our client, one of the leading companies operating in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.Position OverviewWe are seeking a talented and fast-paced Procurement Manager to join a renowned FMCG company . The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator with experience managing both direct materials and industrial CAPEX, and who is eager to grow within an international environment. The role covers procurement activities for Italy and interfaces closely with the wider Regional Cluster.Key ResponsibilitiesManage procurement for key raw materials including flavours, sugar, sweeteners, juices, CO₂, and bottles.Conduct supplier scouting, evaluation, and category-level negotiations while ensuring alignment with KPI parameters.Maintain compliance with quality, cost, and service standards across all categories.Manage procurement of industrial items and small machinery.Collaborate closely with plant operations, engineering, and industrial stakeholders regarding equipment and investment needs.Support strategic projects linked to recent and ongoing manufacturing site revisions.Oversee a diverse supplier base that includes both major global suppliers and small local partners.Foster strong relationships, ensuring performance, reliability, and service level compliance.Major agreements are led by the Head of Procurement; call-offs are managed directly by the plant.Interface internationally across the Region, requiring strong English communication skills.Manage procurement budgets (scope and exact volume to be defined).Work collaboratively with manufacturing sites, finance, quality, and supply chain teams.Achieving negotiation targets for each category.Delivering cost savings and staying within defined parameters.Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and supplier performance metrics.Contribute to strategic initiatives related to manufacturing sites, which have undergone significant review and transformation in recent years.Support long-term optimization and investment projects across industrial operations.RequirementsProven experience in procurement within FMCG or industrial environments.Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage both direct materials and industrial/CAPEX categories.Fast-paced, talented professional with strong ambition and willingness to grow.Fluency in English with the ability to interface internationally.Experience managing diverse supplier ecosystems (global players + local suppliers).Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP/procurement systems.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSupply Chain, Purchasing, and Project ManagementIndustriesFood and Beverage ManufacturingGet notified about new Procurement Manager jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy .#J-18808-Ljbffr
