You thrive in Agile environments and enjoy working across international teams to develop innovative automation systems. You're detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to contribute to the full lifecycle of product development—from concept to delivery.About the job Based in Monza, Italy, you will join our Automation Development team, responsible for designing advanced control systems and IoT solutions for Alfa Laval's core products and customized projects. In this role, you will be involved in the electrical design and maintenance of automation systems, contributing to high-quality, safe, and efficient solutions.Your main tasks will includeReviewing customer automation inputs and project specificationsEstimating budget hours based on scopePerforming LV electrical design calculationsParticipating in peer reviews and quality processesCoordinating design activity planningCollaborating across sites within our Device Competence SpaceWhat you knowDegree in Electrical or Instrumentation EngineeringProficiency in electrical design tools such as ePlan P8 or similarKnowledge of standards: EN60204-1, UL508a, EN 60079-1Experience with marine approvals, verification, and documentationFamiliarity with prototype/MVP design approachesExpertise in safety calculations and LV designExperience with ATEX and hazardous area electrical design (Zone 1 & 2)Strong skills in electrical engineering drawingsBackground in project work and product developmentProject management experience is a plusFluent in written and spoken English#J-18808-Ljbffr
