Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possibleYour roleThe candidate will join Lens Market Strategy department and will be part of the Global Lens Commercial Catalog team. Being a corporate function the scope is global and cross business channels. We are looking for aJunior Lens Global Master Data Specialistwho will be responsible for the creation, modification, and management of lens product master data, in a timely manner and in full compliance with internal policies and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, integrity and completeness of product data, supporting local business continuity and operational efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. A technical background in lens manufacturing or ophthalmic processes is highly valued.Main responsibilitiesCreate, update, and manage the global commercial lens product master data in accordance with internal standards and governance policies.Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or errors, ensuring high data quality across systems.Anticipate and manage the impact of master data changes on business processes and system integrations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and data accuracy.Participate in transformation and innovation projects related to data management.Support the implementation of new tools and processes to enhance master data governance.Main requirementsEducational background in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a lens-related field.Hands-on experience in a lens manufacturing laboratory or a strong ophthalmic technical background is highly valued and considered a key asset for this role.A strong willingness to learn and quickly become proficient in Master Data Management systems is essential.Previous experience (2+ years) in MDM or similar roles is a plus, especially in global or matrix organizations, andfamiliarity with SAP systems will be considered an advantage.Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with other analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python) is a plus.Comfortable working in complex environments and managing the impact of data changes across systems and processes.Ability to identify root causes of data issues and implement corrective actions.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.Proactive, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.What’s in it for youIn EssilorLuxottica, you are not defined just by your job title.
