OverviewOur Client is a global provider of ICT infrastructure and smart devicesOffertaIP Maintenance EngineerMain ResponsibilitiesA Network Engineer with over 5 years of experience in Internet Service Provider (ISP) infrastructures. Proven expertise in core routing and switching, MPLS technologies, and troubleshooting complex network issues under pressure. Adept at client communication and creating detailed technical documentation.Plan and implement B2B maintenance solutions for network products in the IP (Datacom) domain.Reactive and preventive maintenance of telecommunications equipment, ensuring full functionality of the network.Perform network configuration and optimization using the latest technologies to achieve network stability and high performance.Diagnose and troubleshoot technical network issues, providing efficient solutions to maintain network stability.Provide technical support to clients, either independently or in collaboration with the support team, while coordinating project implementation and facilitating the adoption of new technologiesCompetenze ed esperienzaKey Qualifications & Experience:Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in Internet Service Provider (ISP) network environments.Advanced routing and switching skills (comparable to HCNP/CCNP level or equivalent).Experience in managing maintenance service tickets, with the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet SLA targets and apply structured root‑cause analysis methodologies.Ability to produce clear technical documentation, including operational procedures and incident reports.Technical interface and communication skills, with experience in effectively liaising with client operation and engineering teams.Fluent in both Italian and English for effective collaboration with R&D teams.Availability for on‑call duty.Technical SkillsRouting Protocols: BGP/MP‑BGP, IS‑ISCore & Overlay Technologies: MPLS, LDP, MPLS VPN (L3VPN), EVPN, IPsec Tunnels, Seamless MPLS, Pseudo‑Wire (PWE3)Infrastructure & Redundancy Protocols: IPv4/IPv6, VRRPNetwork Services: QoS (Quality of Service)Link Technologies: Trunking (Ethernet)Completa l'offertaGreat professional career in one of the leading multinational telecommunication companies.
