Job Description Join a team developing state-of-the-art edge-computing platforms and embedded software for next-generation products in 1D/2D code reading and computer vision. Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable Linux-based embedded software architectures .
- Develop and validate software using C++ (user space) and C (Linux Kernel/Bootloader) .
- Port and adapt software across different hardware platforms, processors, sensors and peripherals.
- Debug, maintain and enhance existing software components following SQA best practices .
- Contribute to software architecture, requirements definition, code reviews and development guidelines.
- Explore emerging technologies and contribute to innovation in embedded systems and computer vision .
- Master’s Degree in Computer/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science .
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in Linux embedded systems, C++ and object-oriented design .
- Strong knowledge of C++, design patterns, debugging/profiling tools and SQA practices .
- Experience with Git, Docker, Jenkins and CI/CD .
- Experience with multi-threaded programming and Yocto is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Python/Java , ARM/MIPS architectures and image-processing technologies is a plus.
- Fluent English ; Italian is preferred.
- Annual Base Salary (RAL): €38,000–€46,000
