For an European organization in Ispra, Italy, we are urgently looking for a remote Cloud DevOps Engineer.EU candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates need to work max 5 days/Quarter in the Ispra office.Work permit is not provided. Candidates need to be fluent in English.Tasks and responsibilities:Define configuration management and deployment strategies;Design and create cloud architecture blueprints;Build, maintain, and deploy CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab) on virtual machines;Produce and update software architecture and technical documentation;Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather needs and requirements;Profile:+5 years of Cloud Engineer experience;Strong understanding of software and cloud architecture best practices, including microservices and application design;Proficient in Python;Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies;Experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD processes (setup, maintenance, updates);Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration (OpenShift, Kubernetes), and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab runners, and Helm charts;Familiarity with repository planning and version control systems (Git);Ability to deliver clear business and technical presentations;Adaptability to fast‑evolving cloud technologies (on‑prem or public cloud);Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeContractJob FunctionInformation TechnologyIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting, Outsourcing and Offshoring Consulting, and IT Services and IT Consulting#J-18808-Ljbffr
