Reporting LinesUnder the direct supervision of the Senior Information Technology Officer, the consultant will act as Enterprise Architecture and Digital Governance Specialist within the IT Division performing the following functions.Technical FocusAssist in applying architecture governance, compliance requirements, and basic risk management practices to help ensure technology decisions align with enterprise standards.Tasks and responsibilitiesSupport core services provided by EA Office: triage of requested IT solutions, high level solution design, cloud computing risk assessment, etc.Maintain enterprise IT Risk Register, and monitor compliance.Contribute to the creation, review, and maintenance of IT governance policy documents, ensuring they align with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory expectations.Participate in IT governance forums.Maintain and enhance FAO Digital Capability Repository (EA Knowledge Base /Application Landscape).Perform business analysis and business architecture modelling.Create and update principles, patterns, reference architectures, and documentationProvide architectural assessments for specific IT initiatives and projects.Perform any other Enterprise Architecture and IT Governance activities as required.CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWINGMinimum RequirementsAdvanced university degree from an institution recognized by the International Association of Universities (IAU)/UNESCO in Computer Science, Information systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering or closely related discipline.
