ServiceNow Business Analyst

The Business Analyst works with key project stakeholders to capture business and user requirements. The BA also works with the Development Team to ensure requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification.Job ResponsibilitiesWork within the client's internal governance team, supporting them with strong functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platformForm a partnership with the client business teams to deeply understand their businessCollect, review, analyze, and manage business, user and system requirements from client stakeholders to create clear, concise, and correct user storiesBridge the gap between business and technology ensuring common understanding and alignment of business / technology including functional (for business needs) and non-functional requirements (quality attributes, scalability, interfaces, constraints, etc.)Create, refine, and maintain functional requirements/user stories/use cases and associated deliverables - process flows, test cases, etc. to meet development and stakeholder needsWorks with Development Team to facilitate story estimationSupports Development Team in understanding business and test requirementsWorks together with Technical Lead to translate technical complexities to project stakeholders, ensuring understanding of design decisionAssists in the creation of technical documentation and facilitates the Knowledge Mgmt. process.Job RequirementsProven experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant in ServiceNow projectsStrong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and module and ITIL frameworkAbility to translate business requirements into clear and actionable specifications.Strong analytical thinking and attention to detailServiceNow certifications are a strong plusFluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)3+ years of Business Analysis experienceSolid presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skillsThe ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and under tight deadlinesThe ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion, and simplify complex situationProficiency in capturing and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, test scenarios/scripts, data models and business proceduresStrong process flow and diagramming skills (Visio/Miro/eDraw/draw.io applications).The preceding job description had been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
