Part‑Time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – EscapeCampusEscapeCampus is an international education group focused on language learning and operating schools across the UK, Spain, Italy and Colombia (online and in‑person). We are looking for a strategic, hands‑on CFO to structure and scale the financial side of the business and lead our fundraising strategy across all EscapeCampus projects.Role OverviewThe role is strategic and hands‑on and requires ownership of financial planning, cash flow, unit economics and fundraising.Understand the overall business model of EscapeCampus (schools + online + EdTech)Take ownership of financial planning, cash flow and unit economicsLead and optimise fundraising efforts (VCs, angels, grants, public funds, accelerators)Help the CEO make data‑driven decisions on growth, investments and profitabilityYou will work closely with the Founder & CEO and coordinate with our operations, product and sales teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain the financial model of EscapeCampus Group (P&L, cash flow, forecasts, scenarios)Analyse and improve unit economics (customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, margin per product/country, etc.)Lead and structure the fundraising strategy:Identify and prioritise relevant investors, funds and grant opportunitiesSupport in preparing pitch decks, financial slides, business plans and data roomsJoin investor meetings and handle financial & business due diligenceImplement or improve basic financial processes and reporting:Monthly/quarterly reportingBudgeting and budget vs. actualsCash flow management and runway planningAdvise on corporate structure, subsidiaries and cross‑country operations (UK, Spain, Italy, Colombia) with our legal/accounting partnersSupport the CEO in strategic decisions (pricing, product mix, hiring plan, cost optimisation, expansion)Ensure compliance with basic financial regulations and good governance practicesRequirementsProven experience as CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance or similar in a startup or scale‑up (EdTech, SaaS or education‑related sectors are a plus)Strong skills in financial modelling, forecasting and unit economicsDemonstrated experience in fundraising (equity, convertible instruments, grants, public funding, accelerators, etc.)Ability to translate numbers into clear strategic recommendations for non‑financial stakeholdersComfortable working with distributed operations across multiple countries and currenciesHands‑on, pragmatic, able to work with limited resources in an early‑stage environmentExcellent English (spoken and written)Nice to HaveExperience in EdTech, education or training businessesExperience with grant/public fund applications (innovation, digitalisation, education)Familiarity with UK and EU startup ecosystems (investors, programmes, instruments)Based in Europe or similar time zone#J-18808-Ljbffr
