Activités We are seeking a Lead Contract Engineer to head contract and procurement activities, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and the company’s Ethics & Compliance standards (including Modello 231), Code of Conduct, and HSE requirements. You will lead and develop a team, set contracting strategies, manage complex negotiations, and oversee supplier performance across operations and projects. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a team delivering contract management, materials purchasing, and stock management services. Prioritize team workload to meet operational needs and long-term objectives. Act as the focal point for all contract, procurement, and stock-related activities. Ensure consistent business practices, share lessons learned, and balance task allocation to manage demand. Contracting Strategy & Execution: Define and validate contracting strategies for operations, maintenance, drilling, logistics, and project scopes. Prepare contract dossiers and adapt standard templates to local conditions and applicable legislation. Conduct terms & conditions analysis, lead commercial negotiations, and participate in award recommendations. Draft, review, and finalize contractual and commercial terms ensuring alignment with HSE, company rules, procedures, and the law. Provide expert advice and guidance to contract owners and stakeholders on contractual matters. Planning, Tendering & Governance: Support budget holders in developing the master procurement plan. Manage tender processes: pre-qualification, market engagement, bid documentation, bid evaluation (commercial/contractual), and award. Ensure accurate input and maintenance of contract and supplier data in enterprise systems. Monitor contract performance, handle claims, amendments, renewals, and lead supplier performance reviews. Prepare reporting and statistics for management and contribute to continuous improvement of contracting practices. Compliance & HSE: Uphold Ethics & Compliance, Modello 231, Code of Conduct, and HSE policies; promote their adoption and monitor correct application. Take necessary measures to avert immediate danger and exercise caution to avoid risks to people and assets. Profil du candidat University degree (Management Engineering or related discipline). 10+ years in the Oil & Gas industry, including 5+ years managing Operations & Maintenance, Drilling & Logistics, or Project contracts. Ideally with international experience. Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to devise strategies, draft effective contract documents, and lead commercially significant negotiations. Extensive experience in preparing and negotiating high-value, complex technical purchases. Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and integrated business systems (e.g., ERP/Procurement suites). Solid knowledge of procurement law and contract fundamentals. Broad awareness of company operations and equipment typical of the Oil & Gas sector. Professional qualification (e.g., CIPS or equivalent) is a plus.
