We're looking for professionals seeking to build foundational skills in corporate legal operations.Key job responsibilitiesProvide administrative support for public company corporate, securities, and governance matters with exceptional accuracyDraft and review internal and external communications with strong attention to grammar, verb tenses, and professional writing standardsMaintain critical process compliance including calendaring, filing, and task tracking for securities reporting functionsSupport Section 16 reporting and day-to-day insider trading compliance mattersManage high volumes of sensitive tasks and projects requiring quick turnaround with minimal margin for errorLeverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve work efficiency and effectivenessEarn trust quickly by asking insightful questions and demonstrating strong judgmentCollaborate with legal team members and stakeholders at all levels inside and outside the companyA day in the lifeYour primary focus is ensuring accuracy and compliance in corporate securities and governance matters and processes. You'll manage filing calendars, draft communications for legal review, and coordinate reporting. You'll juggle multiple urgent deadlines—sometimes things elevate quickly to senior leadership, so precision matters. You'll work directly with attorneys, asking questions to understand complex concepts and spotting opportunities to streamline processes.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalentExperience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and WordExperience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities2+ years of professional administrative or paralegal experience in a corporate, legal, or professional services environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in paralegal or equivalent legal secretary roleExperience handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executivesFamiliarity with SEC reporting, Section 16 compliance, or public company corporate governanceWorking knowledge of insider trading compliance policies and 10b5-1 trading plansTrack record of earning trust quickly in fast-paced, high-stakes environmentsBenefits and CompensationOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $102,200/year in our highest geographic market.
