With a workforce of over 3,300 professionals across its offices in Europe and around the world, Telespazio operates an international network of Space Centres and Teleports, offering cutting‑edge solutions in Geoinformation Services, Satellite Systems and Operations, and Satellite Communications.Inside the Teleport and Ground Infrastructures Engineering department in Rome, we are looking for an RF System Engineer, supporting RF Systems and Antenna design, procurement, installation, integration and test in the designated Ground Station facility.The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:System Design, to develop detailed requirements and define the system architecture, including specifications for the procurement of the required subsystems and servicesTechnical management of the Procurement process, including factory and on‑site test as applicableIntegration of the subsystems in the overall system architecture, development and execution of system, end‑to‑end and onsite testsDevelopment of all relevant documentation (design documents, test plans and procedures, reports)Project Management, including budgeted cost and schedule controlRequirements:An experience of at least 3-5 years in Antenna/Ground Stations equipment and subsystem design is requiredSecond Level Master’s degree in Electronic/Telecommunication EngineeringTechnical skills:System Engineering methodologiesAntennas and RF PropagationRF and Microwave SystemsModems and Baseband processingTime and Frequency SystemsKnowledge of Satellite Missions, Satellite Control Techniques, Monitoring and Control Protocols, Antenna Measurements and ECSS Standards is appreciated.Problem solvingFlexibilityGood knowledge of the English language is required (B2‑C1 level)Place of work: Rome Headquarters.
