Key Job Responsibilities About You:You will be a proven manager with experience managing teams of high performers. You will also have a passion for technology along with a desire to be the best at your job every dayAbout The Role As a Data Center Manager in ADSIPL, you will get to manage the world’s largest cloud computing infrastructure in India. We encounter interesting, challenging, and complex problems every day. Being a technical manager at ADSIPL means that you can innovate to solve these issues and help drive Operations Excellence in all areas of your role. Day Job ResponsibilitiesManaging and developing teams of engineers, providing both technical and leadership expertise and ensuring highest levels of performance. Maintaining existing co‑located and in‑house Data Centers. Helping build and bring online new Data Centers. Constantly improving all our processes and procedures. Assisting & managing relationships with external vendors & contractors. Liaising with internal teams & management groups. Ensuring we adhere to and exceed local Health & Safety standards in all our Data Centers. Creating and maintaining metrics on all aspects of our Data Centers and utilizing those metrics to drive positive changes. Assisting in implementing service methodologies including incident management, problem management, change management, capacity management, etc.People Management A successful candidate must have managed a team of at least 5 individuals over at least 3 years, with demonstrated capability to improve team performance and build strong teams. Experience managing both high and low performing employees, along with conflict management skills, is advantageous. Incident Management Significant experience dealing with high‑severity situations and a clear understanding of the wider blast implications of any issue/outage. Experience in Change Management & Fault Management is required. Vendor Management Experience dealing with external vendors, contractors, and security companies, including incident and conflict management. Process Improvement Demonstrated ability to improve existing processes. Experience in process mapping, remediation steps, and impact improvement. Experience in Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma is preferable. Health & Safety Managers should be able to positively influence the safety culture of the Data Center organization. Basic Qualifications5+ years of managing technical teams with significant personnel management experience and examples of developing engineers and building successful teams. Experience in major facilities incident management. Experience implementing process improvements. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. 7+ years of relevant experience in DC Operations, IT Operations or similar roles.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent STEM field, or 3+ months of network and operating system support experience. Experience in project management. 2+ years of Agile methods and processes experience. Experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar. Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma concepts.
