The Informatics team owns the security telemetry mission in AWS. We collect, enrich and vend massive volumes of security‑related data from millions of hosts across globally distributed regions. Key Responsibilities As a Security Software Development Engineer on the Informatics team, you will develop software that collects, enriches and vends Linux security telemetry data. The solutions you deliver are foundational in supporting the security and audit missions of AWS teams. Scale and Impact – Build high‑performing, scalable solutions for collecting, enriching, and vending massive volumes of security‑related data, meeting availability expectations and raising the bar on storage and compute optimizations. Champion automation and generate efficiencies for our customers. Growth – Own end‑to‑end scoping, design, development, test and deployment of features across regions globally. Use data‑driven metrics to challenge biases, remaining customer‑centric. Collaboration – Work with a talented, diverse team of software engineers, sharing knowledge through documentation, design reviews, code reviews and pairing.
