We focus on craft, ownership, and the opportunity to grow—whether that’s advancing your skill set or leading team projects.Experience Requirements & Role Expectations6+ years of full‑time experience as a product designer for digital or web‑based products; in‑house experience highly preferred.Create visually stunning, intuitive, and delightful interfaces, and independently deliver pixel‑perfect UI and seamless interactions.Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research, with hands‑on experience running user interviews, synthesizing findings, and generating actionable insights.Take full ownership of the design process for a dedicated scrum, from discovery to delivery, setting the vision, defining the user experience, and ensuring high‑quality execution.Partner with Product Managers to shape product vision and roadmap, using data, research, and business context to inform design decisions while balancing user needs and business goals.Manage multiple stakeholders within an agile development process.Strong communicator who can articulate design rationale, influence stakeholders, and build trust across disciplines.Strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, process, and solutions for web and mobile product design.The ideal candidate will also have:Intermediate to advanced Japanese language skills, including reading proficiency.Previous experience working for an Online Travel Agency.Experience conducting research within the Japanese market and understanding cultural nuances.Deep understanding of the Japanese online travel market.What you can expect day to day:Develop design solutions that balance business objectives and customer needs.Manage and communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and on‑time delivery.Test prototypes and hypotheses with users to gather actionable feedback.Present work to peers and leadership, both asynchronously and in person.Participate in weekly design critiques, workshops, all‑hands, and team meetings.Document design process and articulate decisions clearly.Champion cohesion and consistency in UX across Agoda’s product suite.Bring a strategic vision to implementing experiences that balance customer needs with business, content, and technology.Equal Opportunity EmployerAgoda is a company represented by people of diverse backgrounds and orientations.
