With $6.9 billion in sales, a strong customer base and global reach spanning nearly 70 countries, we are uniquely positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and create new opportunities for our people.We are currently seeking a Lab Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy.The Lab Supervisor coordinates day-to-day operations in the laboratories and helps achieve product development project goals, while elevating the lab team to a new level of performance and proficiency.ResponsibilitiesPlans and follows the progress of all laboratory tests related to assigned projects.Collaborates with and influences other business areas to pin the testing needs of various projects and plan to address any gaps in feasibility versus expectations.Coordinates laboratory technicians.Oversees results and reporting from the laboratory technicians.Works with the lab manager to improve safety, facilities, efficiency, and turnaround times.Works according to internal instructions based on the requirements of the role, in turn helping to standardize work and introduce new skills & procedures.Participates in product testing at designated external laboratories.Puts in place maintenance and continuous improvement plan for facilities & instruments, monitoring and proposing improvements.QualificationsMaster’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar (e.g., thermodynamics or energetics) or long-term experience in a similar role.At least 4 years previous work in a similar position (e.g., management in test environment).Flexibility and focus to adapt to changing priorities while leading team assigned to the results.Strategic vision – the person can see the desired future state and align the internal necessary steps to achieve it.Knowledge of instrumentation and measurement techniques.Good knowledge of Italian and English and MS Office.If YOU are the person we are looking for, feel free to apply and let's start drafting your future career in a healthy and growing environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
