Working within a team of software engineers, alongside physicists and electronics engineers, you will contribute to the development of a quantum computer based on neutral atoms. You will help develop the software to control the experimental apparatus, working on experimental data acquisition and processing software, client‑server protocols for the remote control of instrumentation, and the GUI for operating the apparatus and monitoring the acquired data.Main ActivitiesSoftware development and maintenance for the remote control and integration of experimental instrumentation, via server‑client protocols and API interfaces.Software development for fast acquisition and processing of experimental data from optical sensors and camera pictures.GUI development for monitoring, diagnosis, and operation of the experimental apparatus.Required FeaturesMaster’s degree in informatics or computer science.Up to three years of experience in software development using Python and/or C/C++.Experience with server‑client protocols and/or API interfaces for devices remote control.Experience in GUI design and development frameworks such as Qt, Javascript, etc.Strong experience with the Linux and Windows operating systems.Deep knowledge of Python and its main libraries, such as Numpy, Scipy, Matplotlib, and/or good knowledge of C/C++ standard libraries.Intermediate level of English.Nice‑to‑have RequirementsAbility to work autonomously and proactively within multidisciplinary teams.Applications that include a brief statement about your motivation and interest in this position will be positively evaluated.Location San Donato Milanese We promote flexible working conditions, also offering Smart Working options to support a better work‑life balance.
