EHS Manager

Overview Join to apply for the EHS Manager role at Crown Holdings, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join us at our plant in Parma, Italy. The Crown Parma plant produces aluminium beverage cans and operates 24/7 on a continuous shift system. About This Opportunity The role reports to the Plant Manager and functionally to the EHS Manager for Crown Bevcan EMEA. You will handle the Environment, Health & Safety responsibilities for the plant, ensuring best practice and statutory obligations are fully met and that a safety culture is developed. Main Responsibilities Health & SafetyProvide expert advice to Line Managers Promote best practice to meet statutory requirements while maintaining employee engagement Manage and develop the ISO 45001 system Manage and ensure compliance with site safety policies Ensure all employees are competently trained with regards to EHS matters, with a focus on behavioural safetyEnvironmentMonitor legislative changes and ensure compliance with legal requirements Manage and develop the ISO 14001 standard system in all its aspects Ensure safe and correct disposal of all waste streams arising in normal or abnormal situations Collect relevant data relating to environmental performance and issues, and provide appropriate personnel and authorities with this information Organise, co‑ordinate and provide support to environmental related projects to reduce waste, solvents and air emissions and related costsAccidents & IncidentsInvestigate all incidents, near‑misses and accidents, and initiate effective corrective actions if appropriate Investigate complaints arising from environmental impacts Promote accident prevention activities and devise and communicate One Point Safety lessons, Safety Campaigns and initiatives to enhance Safe Working behavioursCommunicationsDevelop and progress the plant's annual EHS management programme, including project and budget management Collect all monthly data, statistics and KPIs in respect of EHS for presentation to the Executive Team Report Management Systems performance and continuous improvement goals Raise awareness of environment, food hygiene, and health and safety in the plantRequired Education, Experience And SkillsDiploma in Health & Safety (or equivalent) Minimum 5 years working experience at a plant level or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge and working experience of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems Recognised Risk Prevention and Environmental qualifications Working knowledge of EHS legislation Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge (Black Belt preferable) Computer literate Fluent Italian with professional level EnglishCosa vi offre CrownL'opportunità di costruire una carriera in un ambiente multiculturale Una remunerazione equa e criteri di crescita professionale basati sul merito e sui risultati Uno sviluppo professionale e personale basato sia sull’esperienza sul campo che sulla formazione Un forte impegno per la sicurezza dei nostri dipendentiWorking Together L’accessibilità, l’equità, la diversità e l’inclusione sono tratti distintivi della cultura “Working Together” di Crown.
