They use cutting‑edge technologies and operate at speeds that push other pieces of the grid to go faster.Our team in Milan is growing and we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a focus in Protection for transmission/distribution utility projects and customers.As a Project Engineer - Protection, a typical day might include the following:Designing power system protection solutions for customersCommissioning projects in the fieldDevelopment of relay/controller settings and testingPreparation of functional design documentationWorking as a technical lead alongside Project Managers and other Engineers from other focus areasThis job might be for you if:You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field that has equipped you with strong foundational knowledgeYou have at least 5 years of experience working with protection systems relays doing programming, settings, testing, and commissioningYou understand and have experience with power system studiesYou have power system/substation protection experienceYou are willing to travel up to 50% (more typically 25%)You are fluent in Italian and English (other European languages are preferred)Competitive pay.
