As Global IS Governance Assurance and Advisory Specialist, you will shape and implement governance across ABB’s global organization. You ensure governance frameworks are adopted, maintained, and continuously improved, enabling cross-functional alignment with IT strategy and business goals. You engage senior stakeholders to translate governance into real collaboration and value. You balance assurance with advisory work to help teams comply and thrive within the governance model. This hybrid role places you at the center of ABB’s IS strategy, driving practical improvements and impactful outcomes.
Responsabilità Design, maintain and improve IS governance frameworks, policies and standards to align IT strategy with business goals
Monitor governance, compliance and risk frameworks; coordinate audits and remediate findings
Advise senior leaders and business stakeholders on governance, fostering cross-functional collaboration
Identify opportunities to simplify and enhance governance processes for pragmatic, value-adding outcomes
Requisiti fondamentali Extensive experience in IT/IS governance, compliance, risk management, or related areas in a global corporate environment
Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities across cultures and organizational levels
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for governance implementation
Ability to own and drive initiatives with limited supervision
Effective communication and negotiation skills in English
Familiarity with governance frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO/IEC 38500) is a strong plus
Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement and sustainable enhancements
