Everyone at Prysmian has the potential to make their mark; because whatever you do, wherever you are based, you will be part of a company that is helping transform the world around us.Position OverviewInside our HQ Purchasing team, we are looking for a Global Senior Buyer – Raw Materials.In This Role, You WillNegotiate with key suppliers defining the appropriate conditions for maximizing value creation for the GroupLead and support commodity‑related initiatives at regional/local level, in cooperation with the relevant internal stakeholders (GCL, Supply Chain, R&D, Sales, Quality, etc.)You Will AlsoEnsure design and execution of the sourcing strategies and sourcing events in cooperation and alignment with, where appointed, Global Commodity Leaders, local purchasing teams and the other key internal stakeholdersNegotiate contracts and any other agreements with suppliers that are functional to the sourcing strategy in placeGovern the supply base and suppliers’ performance (including service level, quality, risk and compliance monitoring), ensuring the appropriate supplier selection, qualification, development and overall supplier management practices are in place.
