Play a strategic role in directing the store team to consistently deliver a memorable RL customer experience to an exceptional level. Inspire, empower, lead and motivate the development of the store team. Generate meaningful revenue and profitable and sustainable growth for the store. Effectively communicate and implement the store strategy and initiatives that support the RL business vision. The junior pastry cook prepares and bakes a wide range of pastries, dessert and baked goods including cookies. Support and help both the Chef and the Pastry Chef in the daily kitchen operations. Maintain an inventory of baking supplies and ensure the quality of ingredients used in all preparations. Work closely with the executive Chef and other kitchen staff to develop menus and execute pastry orders for events and special requests.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide both a unique and elevated guest experience for each guestServe customers as part of a team by anticipating their needs, initiating conversation, offering assistance and advicePerform dining room set‑up and clean up, running side work and closing dutiesCheck identification to ensure customers meet minimum age requirements for consuming alcoholic beveragesCompute customer checks, operate the POS system and accept paymentsMaintain dining room safety and sanitation standards, and be aware of potential hazards such as slipping, tripping, falling or burnsAttend all pre‑shift meetings ready to "listen and learn" and share ideasTake breaks only when approved by the Chef or Sous ChefRespect the schedule and working hours assigned by the ManagerKeep a clean and professional appearance at all timesMay perform other duties as assignedExperience, Skills & KnowledgeMust possess HACCP certificateUnderstand critical situation during peak periods and avoid leaving the work areaHave extensive knowledge on the spirits, wine and cocktail menu, knowing each product on the menu and be able to offer recommendationsHave extensive knowledge of the restaurant's menu and wine list, including daily specialsAvailability to work overtime when necessaryAbility to effectively communicate verbally with customers and other staff in a fast‑paced environmentAbility to follow instructions and proceduresMust have strong customer service skills and be able to maintain poise and positive personality when under pressureMust possess acute attention to detailSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesAdvertising ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at BoF Careers by 2xGet notified about new Pastry Cook jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy .#J-18808-Ljbffr
