Job Description Hill International is hiring for a Project and Construction Manager for our main office in Rome, Italy. Presence on-site during construction will be required. As Construction Manager, you will ensure projects adhere to client requirements and business goals by developing and driving project plans, managing cross‑functional teams, and coordinating activities within the established project cost and timelines. Your responsibilities will span all project phases: planning, design/preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. Responsibilities As Project and Construction Manager, your role involves day‑to‑day management of on‑site construction and handover activities. You will administer project construction contracts, coordinate contractors, handle permitting, and deal with utility agencies and inspecting authorities. You will follow up on all contracted deliverables and ensure quality assurance of contractor work, enforce appropriate technical standards, and oversee contractors’ scheduling, conducting, and documentation of construction meetings, including progress meetings, safety meetings, and inspections, while distributing the minutes. Additionally, you will coordinate the application and approval process for permits and approvals required for the project. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience 5 years of construction management experience Excellent level of English is mandatory Proven construction management experience in the hotel/hospitality or retail sector Proven planning skills (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project) Ability to work in Power BI to produce project reporting with dashboards is considered a plus Professional accreditation as PMI/PRINCE/AGILE or equivalent, LEED, or BREEAM is considered a plus Driver license required The workplace will be in Rome but presence on project sites will be required within Italy #LI-EP1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
